WHEN BUDDHA SLEEPING
Thousands of Rohingyas have crossed the border between Myanmar and Bangladesh after the Burmese army started an operation against the Rohingyas by killing, raping, and burning their homes in the Rakhine state of Myanmar. As of December 2017, an estimated 7,23,000 Rohingya people fled to Bangladesh to avoid persecution from the Burmese military started on 25 August 2017. There are more than 3,00,000 Rohingyas living in Bangladesh who fled an earlier wave of violence from the Burmese government over the last three decades. International organizations have reported claims of human rights violations and summary executions allegedly carried out by the Myanmar army.
